Michael brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in nutrition and health to the company. Michael is currently the Chairman of The British Specialist Nutrition Association, a Governor of and Honorary Treasurer The British Nutrition Foundation, A Director of Osem UK and Fellow of the Institute of Food Science and Technology.
Clara Martinez — Account and Project Manager
With a degree in social communication and journalism, Clara has more than 5 years of experience working for market research agencies in South America and London. She has worked for a large numbers of qualitative projects for companies such as DIAGEO, DUPON, GENZYME and COLGATE. Clara brings her analytical skills and industry experience to the team as a research executive.
Rafal Charlinski — Patient Community Engagement Manager
With 10 years experience in market research spent with the likes of IPSOS, Hall & Partners and TNS, Rafal joins Opinion Health as Patient Community Engagement Manager. In his past assignments, Rafal managed a vast spectrum of qualitative and quantitative projects and gained extensive expertise and knowledge in medical and consumer research. At Opinion Health, Rafal will lead and expand the rare disease patient community division, focusing on increasing reach, awareness, usage and engagement.
Michele Poliziani — Executive Director
With a strong academic and business background, Michele has over 20 years’ multi-country and multi-sector research experience gained at university level worldwide as Research Fellow and as analyst for companies including Jupiter Research. On top of his research role, Michele’s focus is on overall business strategy, performance, execution and clients relationships.
Michail Kalpaxoglou — Research Director
Michail has spent 18 years in the pharmaceutical industry with Boehringer Ingelheim and Amgen and the last 6 years in healthcare research with IPSOS Greece. As Research Director at Opinion Health, Michail is directly involved in all key aspects of both quantitative and qualitative research project lifecycle.
Phil Thorpe — Field Resourcing & Project Operations Lead
With over 20 years experience in the healthcare sector and more specifically in the areas of Adhoc and Syndicated Market Research, Phil brings fieldwork and operational project management expertise to the team. In previous roles, Phil not only managed a variety of qualitative and quantitative projects globally but also set up strong fieldwork teams. Over the years he has developed extensive expertise and knowledge in Healthcare research and has been involved in many challenging therapy area studies, at time using diverse tactics to ensure success. At Opinion Health, Phil will work closely with the team to ensure no stone is left unturned in the pursuit of delivering a project on spec, on time and on budget.
Mohammed Aiyaz, PhD — Research Manager
Aiyaz has over 10 year experience within translational research, working with pharmaceutical industries to help translate molecular diagnostics capabilities into the clinic. A biomedical scientist, Aiyaz joins Opinion Health as Research Manager bringing his experience and analytical skills to deliver value-added insights within all aspects of qualitative and quantitative research. Before Opinion Health, Aiyaz worked for IPSOS MORI as part of the Molecular Diagnostics Monitors team to provide insights into trends, drivers and barriers within the oncology molecular diagnostics landscape where his tasks included the day to day running of quantitative physician/patient research studies, acting as an interface with key clients internally and externally, creating client deliverables.
Alexandra Bucuroiu — Systems and Operations Manager
With 5 years experience as a market research programmer and having worked previously for Ipsos Interactive Services, Alexandra is involved in all technical and network aspects of our hosting platforms and systems, programming, data processing and visualization as well as database management.
Joanna Pressner — Research Executive
With a BSc in Psychology and PG Dip in Research Methods in Psychology, Joanna joins Opinion Health as Research Executive. With a strong background in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, Joanna has worked in academia as well as industry side, conducting research projects across multiple sectors including health and social care, banking, legal and public sector. Her most recent post included working for Research Works. Previous work include roles as analyst and programmer.
Ben Cope — Systems Development & Technical Director
Ben, with 20 years experience in information technology is the technical lead for our research solutions. A qualified software engineer, he specialises in programming and data manipulation & analysis. With a wealth of experience in each stage of the project life cycle, Ben now oversees technical aspects of our operations and development of bespoke solutions.
